What We Do

Basic Living & Social Skills Modules

At The Genesis Project, we believe that building essential life skills during childhood lays the foundation for long-term success. Many of the children in our care have not had consistent adult modeling or the individual attention needed to learn these skills step by step.

Our experiential learning modules are designed to meet that need. Through hands-on instruction and daily practice, children learn foundational living skills such as:

  • Personal hygiene

  • Mealtime etiquette

  • Bedtime routines

  • Household cleaning

  • Academic skills for success in school

  • Recreation and leisure activities

  • Swimming and pool safety

  • Bicycle riding and safety

We also focus on key social and emotional skills that are often more challenging to master, including:

  • Personal safety

  • Taking responsibility for one’s actions

  • Building healthy friendships and relationships

  • Solving problems effectively

  • Communicating with clarity and respect

These modules help equip every child at Genesis with the tools they need to navigate daily life with confidence and care.
